SES Engineering Services are looking for a Principal Technical Manager to join our Central team focussing on high profile, technically complex mechanical and electrical projects across multiple sectors.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Principal Technical Managers are a valuable part of our business, and their role will encompass both work winning and the delivery of live projects whilst providing strong functional leadership, management, governance and excellence for all engineering activities pre and post contract, across either a single large project or portfolio of projects.

As our Principal Technical Manager, you will:

  • Undertake Design reviews for allocated projects through the SES Integrated Project Delivery model.
  • Undertake Tender reviews for the regional business
  • Develop design and technical strategies for tenders and projects
  • Manage the regional MEP consultant supply chain through engagement and KPI’s
  • Manage consultant appointment for the regional projects.
  • Technical accountability for the mechanical engineering services for the project.
  • Technically assess, coach and develop Preconstruction Leaders, Design Project Manager,& Project Managers & Engineers.
