Job summary

Ncounter is seeking a Principal-level Technical Consultant for Homeland Security, with a strong consulting background and technical delivery capability. You will operate between business stakeholders, consultants and engineering teams across UK public sector projects.

You could come from Solution Architecture, Technical BA, Technical Delivery or similar; the role requires understanding technology and translating requirements into practical solutions with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in technology or management consulting.
• Background in solution architecture or technical delivery.
• Experience delivering complex technology programmes, ideally in public sector.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the bridge between consulting teams, senior stakeholders and technical specialists.
• Supporting technical initiatives from discovery through delivery and transition.
• Shaping solutions across complex digital and technology environments.
• Translating business requirements into clear technical direction.
• Working across architecture, systems integration, digital transformation and emerging tech.
• Leading client conversations and producing clear technical recommendations and documentation.
• Supporting technical bids and new client opportunities.
