Job Description:

The Role: This is an exciting opportunity to join ION as a Principal Technical Consultant. You will be responsible for project technical oversight, leadership, architecture, mentoring, and internal initiatives to improve delivery. Collaborate with analysts, clients, and team members to design and implement product extensions, configurations, and interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project implementations, ensuring quality and success.
• Serve as Solution and Integration Architect for system-wide implementations and assessments.
• Participate in hands-on project implementation duties.
• Adhere to project delivery methodologies.
• Engage in continuous skills and product development.
• Contribute to best practices and internal process improvements.
• Assist in presales activities, scope definitions, and estimations.
• Act as a technical resource for complex ideas and questions.
• Identify opportunities for additional consulting services.
• Manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Communicate professionally with diverse stakeholders.
• Interpret client needs and propose strategic solutions.
• Mentor consultants in technical areas.
• Create training materials and designs emphasizing reusability and scalability.
• Present technical solutions to clients and deliver training.
• Participate in implementation analysis and provide detailed documentation.
• Monitor project estimates and deliverables quality.
• Maintain chargeability and travel as needed.

Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

Product Specific Qualifications: Experience with Openlink Endur, Connex, JMS, WebServices, Advanced Report Builder, Data Model, OpenJVS, SQL, UDF, TPM workflows, and related concepts. Knowledge of commodities, Power, and system upgrades is a plus.

Technical Qualifications: Bachelor's/Master's in relevant fields, 15+ years in software design/deployment, extensive Openlink experience, proficiency in C# .NET, Java, C++, WebServices, SQL, and cloud technologies. Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills are essential. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with onsite availability.
