East Ayrshire Council seeks a dedicated teacher for a permanent full-time position at Loudoun Academy in Galston. The role involves leading curriculum development, providing guidance to staff and pupils, and ensuring adherence to the Education and Community Plans. Contribute to the effective leadership, good management, and strategic direction of teaching and related activities. Focus on developing and delivering the curriculum, school policies, and pupil assessments. Provide advice, support, and guidance to colleagues and pupils to promote, deliver, and integrate the key objectives within the Education Plan and the Community Plan.
The duties involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants must become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member or have an existing PVG Scheme Record Update before a formal offer of employment can be made by East Ayrshire Council. PVG records are regularly updated, and any relevant disclosures will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.

This is a permanent full-time position based at Loudoun Academy, Galston, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, under the line manager's direction. The salary is £62,022 per annum.
