South Ayrshire Council is seeking a Principal Teacher to oversee educational responsibilities under the Head Teacher’s direction. This temporary position offers a competitive salary, excellent pension scheme, and benefits aimed at supporting work-life balance. Interviews are set for June 2025.
Subject to the policies and practice of the School and the Council, the duties of Principal Teachers are to perform such tasks as the Head Teacher shall direct.

This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme or undergo an update if already a member, prior to any formal offer of employment.
