A Scottish local council is seeking a Principal Teacher Guidance to lead educational practices and ensure quality curriculum development at The Nicolson Institute. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree, GTC Scotland Registration, and experience in pastoral care. This full-time, permanent role offers a salary of £62,586 per annum and requires candidates to demonstrate their qualifications against essential criteria. Interviews will be conducted in person.

35 hours per week, Permanent Position
£62,586 per annum, inclusive of £2,859 Distant Islands Allowance per annum
The purpose of this post is to contribute to the overall effectiveness of the school in respect of the following areas:
(a) The leadership, good management and strategic direction of colleagues.
(b) Curriculum Development and Quality Assurance.
(c) Whole school policy and implementation.
(d) Working with partners.
The purpose of this post is to perform tasks as directed by the head teacher, having reasonable regard to overall workload, in relation to the duties and responsibilities listed below, as appropriate to the management structure of the school. The post also carries a class teaching commitment in the postholder's specialist subject.
The successful candidate must have an appropriate degree / diploma in the subject area and GTC Scotland Registration. Experience in pastoral care is required.

The above teaching post is full time, permanent and the salary is in accordance with current regulations and inclusive of £2,859 distant islands allowance.
