CoreTech Security is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to own complete systems from concept to delivery, combining software, hardware, networks and third‑party tech. You will guide architecture decisions, manage interfaces and lead multidisciplinary teams across projects.

The role demands a strong systems thinking mindset, pragmatic engineering practices, and the ability to mentor colleagues while maintaining hands‑on technical leadership throughout integration and delivery.

Qualifications

• Active Security Clearance is preferred.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams on complex projects.
• Experience turning operational needs into system objectives and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Turn operational needs into clear system objectives, requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Define architectures, boundaries and interfaces across software, hardware, networks and third‑party tech.
• Lead technical trade-offs balancing performance, security, risk and delivery constraints.
• Define integration, verification and validation strategies and provide technical leadership through system integration.
• Act as technical authority for multidisciplinary projects and manage technical risks.
