Salary: £50,000 - £72,000


Role Clearance Type: You must be able to gain and maintain UK Government clearance


Location: Burlington House, New Malden, Kingston-Upon-Thames, London, UK.


About Your Opportunity:

A key member of the Systems Engineering Team, this role will lead and take ownership of various aspects of large and strategically important UK Defence, Cyber and Intelligence Programmes. The role provides customers with timely delivery, within budget and drives the ongoing development and growth of Systems Engineering within NGUK. Opportunity to impact and shape the development of existing and future systems that support major UK defence assets. Aiming to develop our modelling capabilities to enable auto-generation of requirements, using scripting, from customer capabilities and needs.


Your Responsibilities:
  1. Drive SE process on programmes
  2. Successfully deliver key milestone design reviews
  3. Customer relationship development
  4. Lead integration of other engineering disciplines
  5. Technical management of suppliers
  6. Developing new modelling techniques

Your Experience:
  1. Proven experience, with Extensive Systems Engineering models and techniques knowledge
  2. Degree qualified in relevant engineering subject
  3. Exceptional people and communication skills
  4. External customer/supplier relationship management experience
  5. Aptitude for people leadership and team management
  6. Knowledge of military aviation communication systems and protocols
  7. Use of Modelling Tools such as EA or Cameo
  8. Advanced features of modelling tools such as MODSIM
