Job summary

TAE Power Solutions is seeking a Principal Engineer in the Systems Architecture team to lead feature development using MBSE and system-level thinking. You will decompose stakeholder requirements into detailed specifications for hardware and software delivery, guiding a cross-functional team of systems, hardware, software and test engineers.

The role focuses on battery-inverter technology for e-mobility, including AC/DC charging interfaces and DCDC conversion.

Qualifications

MBSE modelling and use of models in SW/hardware transition
HV charging design/operation experience (DCDC conversion)
SysML or Enterprise Architect toolchain exposure
System-level FMEA experience
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Engineering, Physics, Math)
Master’s or PhD in a relevant field desirable

Responsibilities

Lead and support the development of a feature through MBSE practices with a cross-functional team
Provide technical expertise in AC and DC charging (incl. Vehicle->Grid)
Lead System Engineering interfaces with HW and SW Design teams
Perform S-FMEA, D-FMEA level analysis
Build SysML models and diagrams in Enterprise Architect for features
Ensure EH&S and quality standards are adhered to
