We are looking for a SC Cleared Principal Systems Engineer with strong radar domain expertise to support complex Fire Control Radar systems within a high-security defence environment. This is a technically engaging opportunity for a systems thinker who thrives on solving multi-layered engineering challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive systems engineering activity across the radar development lifecycle
  • Define and shape problems, architectures, and synthetic environments
  • Support performance modelling, system design, and verification
  • Collaborate across disciplines (eg RF, DSP, sensor fusion) to ensure effective system integration
  • Lead or contribute to design, modelling, simulation, and data analysis

Experience and Skills Sought:

We re particularly keen to hear from candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

  • Radar systems and sub-systems
  • Systems architecture and system-of-systems integration
  • Digital signal processing
  • Synthetic environments or real-time simulation
  • Verification, validation, and performance modelling

Requirements:

  • Strong radar domain knowledge and systems engineering background
  • Able to access ITAR/NATO-restricted information
  • Willing to work primarily onsite in Edinburgh
  • Due to the nature of the role, an active UK SC Clearance is required.
