Principal System Architect - SoC
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Partnering with engineering leaders and product strategists to chart our future technology path.
- Translating high-level requirements into detailed platform blueprints encompassing hardware, software frameworks, development tools, and supporting technologies.
- Collaborating proactively with internal architecture and core technology teams to ensure a cohesive roadmap of platform designs and feature advancements that address the evolving demands of smartphones and large-screen computing.
- Critically evaluating proposed architectures and internal/external intellectual property, providing insightful and inspiring leadership across hardware, software, and platform teams to foster a shared architectural and technological vision.
- Serving as a credible technical representative in discussions with partners, effectively integrating their feedback into our plans.
- Generating essential high-level architectural specifications to empower engineering teams in the design and validation of platforms for key client markets, including smartphones, large-screen compute devices, and embedded/smart home solutions.
- Conceptualizing and executing experiments and analyses to resolve fundamental architectural questions. Driving the innovation and development of crucial simulation tools, models, profilers, and methodologies to support these investigations.
- Articulating technical findings and concepts with clarity and authority to a wide spectrum of audiences, from individual engineers to architectural peers and business executives.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- Demonstrable experience in SoC Architecture for smartphones/tablets or related domains.
- A strong technical foundation and established credibility within the field.
- A proven ability to navigate ambiguity and drive progress effectively.
- Exceptional collaboration and influencing skills across organizational levels.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with a knack for effective teamwork.
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline; an advanced degree (MS or PhD) is highly valued.
