Our Manchester office is seeking a Sustainability and Carbon Team Leader with extensive experience in embedding sustainability into large infrastructure projects and corporate strategies, capable of providing team/line management.

The successful candidate will collaborate across teams, work on major infrastructure projects, and lead sustainable change for high-profile UK clients. Capability, eagerness to learn, and supporting team development are valued.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading on carbon, sustainability, and net zero strategies for projects and clients.
  • Developing innovative sustainability solutions and management plans.
  • Managing sustainability inputs on projects.
  • Representing the company externally and building reputation.
  • Leading bid proposals and supporting team development.
Requirements:
  • Degree in environmental/engineering discipline; chartered status.
  • Experience in carbon accounting, decarbonisation, sustainability assessments, and related areas.
  • Strong report writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of UK sustainability and carbon standards.
  • Leadership skills to support and develop team members.
