From £70,865 + executive car allowance depending on skills & experience

Overview

The Aukus supply chain function is responsible for delivering strategies and objectives that support Submarines’ and the AUKUS programme common and functional business objectives. This role provides the key interface between the UK MoD, the Submarines enterprise and the Australian Submarine Builder (ASB) teams, influencing sourcing and supply chain solutions across the UK and Australian entities.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for delivering functional strategies, plans and objectives that deliver Submarines’ and the AUKUS programme common and functional business objectives
  • Influence and manage major subcontracts and programme management of such to support the UK and Australian business schedules together with Australian Industrial Capability aspirations and objectives
  • Provide the key Supply Chain interface between the UK MoD, the Submarines enterprise and Australian Submarine Builder (ASB) teams, influencing the design and delivery of successful sourcing and Supply Chain solutions
  • Developing, maintaining, leading and managing a professional Supply Chain function within the AUKUS programme that effectively interfaces with the Submarines enterprise to meet objectives
Your Skills And Experiences
  • Experience in Supply Chain management and major subcontracts at senior level
  • Management, leadership and business executive skills
  • Capable of working in a volatile environment with the ability to root cause and resolve areas of uncertainty within the business
  • Broad base of skills and experience at a senior level including Project Management, product awareness, commercial acumen, engineering acumen, financial awareness and effective influencing skills
  • MCIPS or equivalent level relevant, professional qualification is desirable
