Job description

As a Principal Supplier Management Specialist at SE First you will be supporting a team within Energy Services. Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Oversee and optimise the full query management process, using excellent organisational skills and attention to detail to plan, coordinate, and proactively manage complex workloads—ensuring all queries are resolved efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Lead and resolve high-profile escalations, applying strong collaboration, communication, and influencing skills to work effectively across departments and with senior stakeholders, ensuring swift and robust outcomes that align with business priorities.
  • Drive industry intelligence and continuous improvement, using your inquisitive nature and strong analytical skills to investigate issues, research market trends, and anticipate changes—adapting internal processes and policies to stay ahead in a fast-evolving industry.
  • Lead, and refine supplier performance, applying your deep energy industry knowledge and process expertise to ensure supplier relationships are aligned to strategic goals.
  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of learning and high performance, while also supporting quality assurance by embedding best practices, reinforcing adherence to processes, and continuously improving the team’s standards of service.

You will be working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure business needs are met and the smooth delivery of our services to customers.
