Are you a technically-sound chartered Structural Engineer with experience in temporary works design and site support seeking a genuine career development opportunity? You will get to work on a variety of projects.

We are currently looking to appoint a Principal Structural Engineer with 10+ years of postgraduate UK consultancy experience for a permanent position at our Redhill office.

Located near Redhill train station, our office is close to the town’s retail and leisure hubs. Our diverse team is working on prestigious projects across the UK and globally, including urban regeneration, infrastructure, transport, mixed-use developments, and residential communities.

Our civil structures team is expanding due to successful market growth, especially in rail, private, and local government sectors, offering a range of project complexities and fees.

We pride ourselves on a strong UK-wide reputation, providing high-quality civil and structural design services to a diverse client base.

Requirements for the Principal Structural Engineer with Temporary Works experience:

• A relevant degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Chartered by MICE or MIStructE (preferred)
• Experience in design, including buildability, of temporary works
• Experience in contractor and designer discussions
• Approximately ten years of UK experience in temporary works design
• Ability to produce technical reports
• Self-management and team support skills
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and relevant structural design software
• Experience designing with RC, Steel, masonry, and timber
• Knowledge of BS 5975 and Eurocodes
• Rail sector experience (preferred)
