A little more about your role...

Working on a variety of interesting projects encompassing Energy, Renewable Energy, Healthcare, Heritage, Commercial, Industrial, and Hospitality sectors.

1. Responsible for the efficient and compliant delivery of all structural engineering design on the project, leading the technical design delivery.
2. Coordinate and interface to ensure the project meets the client's technical requirements, leading client liaising, and design responsibility for all structural works.
3. Support in administering the structural design, financial management, team costs, and performance.
4. Manage and mentor WSP technical structural engineering staff, working under the guidance of the Lead Project Engineer and Project Manager.
5. Review and check structural engineering work in accordance with WSP protocols, delegating as needed.

Qualifications and skills include:

1. Working towards Chartered Engineer status or equivalent qualifications.
2. Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
3. Knowledge of REVIT Structure and ability to coordinate structural models.
4. Ability to solve structural problems using various analysis methods.
5. Awareness of environmental and sustainability legislation.
6. Experience with construction techniques, site visits, and project delivery.

1. Experience in organizing design reviews and risk assessments.
2. Ability to manage resources and deliver project elements within budget and time constraints.
3. Experience in managing project scope and contract implications.
4. Mentoring experience with Graduate Engineers or Technicians.
