Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• To undertake site surveys to accurately access and appraise as built details of existing structures and prepare sketches of the same
• To undertake construction site inspections to check the quality of workmanship and compliance of construction with the drawn details
• Liaising with architects, contractors and other construction professionals
• To attend site meetings with Contractors and professional team members
• To comply with the company’s Quality Assurance procedures
• To undertake training and continuing professional development (CPD)

Qualifications and Experience:

• BEng or MEng in civil and/or structural engineering
• Demonstrable experience of working at a Project Lead/Senior level, including management of staff
• Achieved or close to Chartered Engineer with ICE or IStructE
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Great team-working and personable approach to clients
• Prepared to work as part of a team or as an individual
• Candidates must be willing to spend time on site and occasional stays away from home.
• Full UK driving licence preferred
