An established Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy in Cardiff are looking for a Principal Structural Engineer. Our client offers a unique opportunity to lead your own project portfolio, manage client relationships, and drive commercial success. This role is crucial for our client\'s future leadership, with a clear path to Board level.

You\'ll oversee technical delivery for exciting projects in housing, renewable energy, industrial, and increasingly, rail. Our client\'s work spans the UK, with a strong focus on South Wales and the West.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee technical delivery for projects in housing, renewable energy, industrial, and rail sectors.
  • Lead and manage a portfolio of projects and client relationships.
  • Drive commercial success and contribute to strategic leadership within the practice.
  • Support development and progression toward Board level positions.
Qualifications
  • At least 10 years of post-graduate experience.
  • Strong design skills in all major structural materials.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Familiar with TEKLA, Scia, Tedds, Revit Structure; AutoCAD is a plus.
  • Chartered status is preferred, but strong experience is key.
