Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer to lead major projects from Hull and across sectors including high-rise, energy and residential. You will influence design direction, manage client relationships, and mentor engineers within a growing consultancy.

The role requires a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Chartered status preferred, and strong leadership with excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Senior structural engineering experience, ideally at Principal level or ready to take that next step.
• Strong knowledge of structural design, analysis and design standards.
• Experience across high-rise, residential, energy, industrial or commercial developments.
• Excellent communication, project management and client-facing skills.
• Chartered status preferred; degree in Civil/Structural Engineering required.
