We have an outstanding opportunity for a Principal Offshore Structural Engineer in our UK offices.

Your purpose:

• Coordinate delivery of global projects, including offshore wind farm development and asset management, developing innovative solutions.
• Provide leadership to a team of offshore structural engineers, delivering work packages per customer and industry standards.
• Design and analyze fixed and floating offshore structures to support the renewable sector and climate change mitigation.

What you can bring:

• Lead or collaborate on projects, ensuring successful completion within budget and schedule. Perform structural analysis and design of offshore wind structures, foundations, meteorological masts, and substations.
• Expertise in monopiles, jackets, or floating systems, using analysis techniques like pile-soil interaction and wind/wave dynamic loading.
• Leadership skills to foster innovation within a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in offshore industry, particularly in steel design for wind turbine foundations or substations, with proficiency in software like ANSYS, SESAM, SACs, or STAADPro.
• Solid theoretical and practical knowledge of offshore structural activities, transportation, installation, and environmental loading.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude. Mentoring junior engineers is also expected.
