We have an outstanding opportunity for a Principal Offshore Structural Engineer to join our expanding team in the UK.

Your purpose:

  • Coordinate the delivery of global projects in offshore wind farm development or asset management, developing innovative solutions.
  • Provide leadership to a team of offshore structural engineers, delivering work packages per industry standards and client requirements.
  • Design and analyze fixed and floating offshore structures to support renewable energy goals and climate change mitigation.

What you can bring:

  • Lead or collaborate on projects ensuring successful completion within budget and schedule, including structural analysis and design of offshore wind structures like foundations, meteorological masts, and substations.
  • Expertise in monopiles, jackets, or floating systems, with skills in analysis techniques such as pile-soil interaction and wind/wave dynamic loading.
  • Leadership skills to foster innovation and proactivity within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Chartered engineer with offshore industry experience, especially in steel design for wind turbine foundations or substations.
  • Experience with offshore wind farm foundation design, relevant regulations, and proficiency in software like ANSYS, SESAM, SACs, or STAADPRO.
  • Solid theoretical and practical knowledge in offshore structural activities, transportation, installation, and environmental loading.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, adaptable to diverse environments.
  • A proactive, learning-oriented attitude, capable of mentoring junior engineers.
