Initial 6 month contracts

£70.87 Per Hour (Umbrella - Inside IR35)

Responsibilities

1. Analysis and Design of complex steel structures utilising Eurocodes, British Standards to support the build
2. Utilise knowledge of regulations & requirements such as LOLER, codes of compliance, weld specifications, geometric tolerance
3. Interpret and be competent in computer-based analytical techniques including finite element analysis, CAD modelling, and engineering schematics (Abaqus, Prokon, S-Frame)
4. Support manufacturing, assembly, lifting, handling, and installation processes of Submarine Structures, Modules, and Components

Candidate Requirements

1. Expertise in structural steel analysis and design; experience with Timber and Concrete Design is beneficial
2. Competent in hand analysis and design techniques, including report writing
3. Fully conversant with Eurocodes and British Standards
4. Experience in reviewing and checking design outputs, steelwork detailing, bolted and welded connections, and geometric tolerances
5. Good understanding of mechanical engineering, structural steelwork, lifting, handling, and LOLER
6. Working knowledge of ABAQUS, S-Frame Foran, MathCAD, and Excel

• Work on-site 2 days per fortnight; WFH the remainder
