Job Description:

Principal Structural Design Engineer

RPS is seeking an experienced Principal Structural Design Engineer to join our Structures team, servicing clients in London, Milton Keynes, and across the Midlands. Our design division delivers projects across sectors including residential, logistics, retail, healthcare, and more, focusing on sustainable and innovative engineering solutions.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing structural engineering projects and teams
• Overseeing project delivery and financial management
• Collaborating with stakeholders and clients
• Conducting site visits and structural surveys

Candidate requirements:

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; chartered with ICE or IStructE preferred
• Experience in foundation, masonry, concrete, steel, and timber design to eurocodes
• Knowledge of residential and commercial structural investigations, including Building Safety Act reporting
• Proficiency with Tekla, AutoCAD, Revit
• Leadership skills and management experience advantageous
