At TEKEVER, we lead innovation in Europe as the European leader in unmanned technology, where cutting-edge advancements meet unparalleled innovation.

Digital | Defence | Security | Space

We operate across four strategic areas, combining artificial intelligence, systems engineering, data science, and aerospace technology to tackle global challenges — from protecting people and critical infrastructure to exploring space.

We offer a unique surveillance-as-a-service solution that delivers real-time intelligence, enhancing maritime safety and saving lives. Our products and services support strategic and operational decisions in the most demanding environments — whether at sea, on land, in space, or in cyberspace.

Become part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary, and mission-driven team that is transforming maritime surveillance and redefining global safety standards.

At TEKEVER, our mission is to provide limitless support through mission-oriented game-changers, delivering the right information at the right time to empower critical decision‑making.

If you're passionate about technology and eager to shape the future — TEKEVER is the place for you.

The Role: We are seeking an experienced Principal Structural Analyst to join our aerospace engineering team. In this role, you will join the structural analysis team responsible for the analysis of the airframe components and assemblies across the full product lifecycle, from concept design through detailed design and manufacturing. You will apply analytical methods to ensure our structures meet demanding strength, stiffness and durability requirements, while mentoring junior engineers and acting as a technical authority and technical leadership within the structures team. This is a hands‑on position that combines deep technical work with cross‑functional collaboration, offering the opportunity to shape critical design decisions on cutting‑edge aerospace programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a range of analysis tasks across all stages of aircraft development, using standard industry references, Roark, Niu, Bruhn, MMPDS, ESDU, etc.
  • Build, validate, and interpret finite element models (e.g., Nastran, Abaqus, ANSYS) for components, sub‑assemblies, and full‑airframe load cases.
  • Produce stress reports and analysis substantiation to compliance quality for review and approval by delegated signatories.
  • Support structural test campaigns: define instrumentation and test requirements, and correlate test results with analytical predictions.
  • Plans out own work, including work estimates, timescales and scheduling to fully complete tasks.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship and promotion of best practices within the analysis function.
Qualifications, Experience & Commitments
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with simulation and CAD tools.
  • Proficient knowledge of metallic and composite materials, fatigue, and damage‑tolerance principles.
  • An understanding of the regulatory frameworks.
  • Have held or has progressed toward delegated design approval authority.
  • Security Vetting: Due to the nature of our Defence contracts, all applicants must be eligible to hold and willing to undergo the vetting process for UK SC level Security Clearance.
  • Travel: Willingness to undertake occasional national and international travel to TEKEVER sites (UK, Portugal, US, Europe) and potentially to deployed operations globally.
Skills & Attributes
  • Min eight years relevant work experience.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and able to interact effectively with the ASG teams, with customers and suppliers
