Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Principal Stakeholder Engagement Consultant to join our Environment team in Scotland, with hybrid working options in Edinburgh or Glasgow. You will lead communications, engagement and consultation on major infrastructure projects, coordinating with clients, communities and regulatory bodies.

The role requires proven experience in delivering communications strategies, stakeholder mapping, event delivery and bid/tender support.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering communications, engagement and consultation on infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record of business development and nurturing client relationships.
• Experience managing teams and supporting junior colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Develop communications strategies and delivery plans for projects.
• Identify key stakeholders and create engagement strategies and delivery plans.
• Support consultation delivery, surveys, feedback channels and analysis of responses.
• Plan and run events, including logistics and stakeholder materials.
• Build client relations and identify new opportunities; contribute to proposals and tenders.
• Manage project teams and budgets to deliver on time and on budget.
