Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers is hiring a Principal Specialist, Network Design to own and harmonize Network Reference Designs for the EMEA region. The role focuses on end-to-end service delivery, coordinating with design managers, sales, client fit-out groups, and external consultants to ensure compliant, cost-efficient outcomes.

The role expects deep experience in passive infrastructure and documentation, with strong leadership and project management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Completed technical studies or training as IT specialist with focus on passive network connectivity and system integration or comparable qualification.
• Minimum 6 years of management and hands-on experience in data center or telecom passive infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Accountability to Senior Manager of GDC Networks Design for EMEA network design projects in line with GRD, OPR and design standards.
• Oversee provisioning of telecommunications services for EMEA new site services, modifications and upgrades.
• Define specifications for products and services used by NTT GDC for structured cabling and passive infrastructure.
• Develop documentation, policies, and methodologies aligned with service ownership blueprint.
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders to reduce lead times and costs while improving client service.

This role oversees the development of foundational communications infrastructure architectural documentation supporting EMEA GDC new construction projects. The position requires close coordination with NTT design and construction managers, sales and commercial teams, client fit out groups, and external consultants to leverage subject matter expertise across the GDC organization.
