Job responsibilities

• Creates complex and scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software design frameworks
• Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
• Advises cross-functional teams on technological matters within your domain of expertise
• Serves as the function's go-to subject matter expert
• Contributes to the development of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologies
• Creates durable, reusable software frameworks that are leveraged across teams and functions
• Influences leaders and senior stakeholders across business, product, and technology teams
• Champions the firm's culture of diversity, equity, and respect
• Develops and writes software applications for AI/ML platforms and building Generative AI based applications including Agents
• Proactively identifies opportunities to streamline, eliminate, or automate the remediation of recurring issues and developer challenges, enhancing operational efficiency and excellence

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and applied experience
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code development, ideally using Terraform
• Expertise in programming languages such as Python and Java
• Advanced knowledge of software application development and technical processes in disciplines like cloud, AI, or ML
• Experience applying expertise to solve complex technology problems
• Ability to communicate effectively with Senior Leaders and Executives
• Background in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields
• Experience with automation, CI/CD/CT methods
• Understanding of SDLC and MDLC
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and architectural frameworks

Additional skills

• Experience in UX design and UI development using frameworks like React
• Proficiency with AI tools to enhance productivity
• Familiarity with architecture design frameworks like TOGAF
• Self-motivated, proactive, with problem-solving skills and a focus on innovation
