Our client offers an exciting opportunity to develop real-time embedded software solutions with high functionality and formal integrity.

You will work within a small team of software engineers and a multidisciplinary engineering team on new designs, developing solutions for applications requiring high performance and integrity. You will be involved throughout the full development lifecycle and have opportunities to deploy and evaluate your solutions on target devices.

Responsibilities include:

• Development of real-time solutions in C & Assembler.
• Low-level and device control application development & debugging.
• Developing to precise timing and performance requirements.
• Contributing to automated testing, continuous integration, and verification.
• Utilizing tools associated with iterative development (Jira / DevOps).
• Executing support strategies and managing updates.
• Supporting module and system-level integration, testing, and analysis.
• Board-level debugging with appropriate tools.
• Assisting with real-world integration and trials.
• Collaborating as part of a self-organizing agile team through all stages of software development.
• Contributing to Software Development Plans, balancing project needs with company and external processes.
• Creating software test plans and specifications.
• Providing accurate estimations based on work breakdown structures and technical requirements.
• Authoring and reviewing software requirement specifications.
• Writing user guides and troubleshooting documentation.

Skills required:

• Embedded C
• Full lifecycle and integration experience
• C / C++ / C#
• Matlab/Simulink (for model-driven auto-code generation)
• MBSE
