Role: Principal Software Engineer
Location: Luton (4 days on site, non-negotiable)
Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 DOE
Clearance: British Citizens Only - eligibility for full security clearance required

Responsibilities:

• Develop embedded software with RTOS (VxWorks, embedded Linux)
• Deploy software on multi-core/distributed platforms
• Collaborate with firmware and hardware teams
• Use C++ and scripting languages
• Follow RTCA 178C and MISRA C/C++ standards

Requirements:

• Full software lifecycle experience (Requirements, Design, Test)
• Proficiency in C++, UML, and OOD
• Agile methodologies (Scrum, Jira, Gitlab)
• Experience with RTCA 178C or similar
