The impact you will have in this role:

Being a member of the Development Group, the Principal Software Engineer role specializes in planning, documenting technical requirements, designing, developing, and testing all software systems and applications for the firm. Works closely with architects, product managers, project management, and end-users in the development and enhancement of existing software systems and applications, proposing and recommending solutions that solve complex business problems.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead needed technical processes and designs considering reliability, data integrity, maintainability, reuse, extensibility, usability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure partners to identify and deploy optimal hosting environments.
• Ensure application meets the performance, privacy, and security requirements.
• Support business and technical presentations in relation to technology platforms and business solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of product strategy and project deliverables.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Talents Needed For Success:

• 8+ years of Active Development Experience/ Expertise in Java/J2EE Based Applications proven ability with Spring Boot and Spring (MVC, Batch, State Machine)
• Experience in financial industry and financial messaging like SWIFT is preferred.
• Experience with MQ, Snowflake, Mainframe is a plus.
• Experience with Private Cloud Platform (IaaS, PaaS), Azure, AWS, Docker is preferred.
