Job summary

HP Wolf Security in Cambridge is seeking a Principal Security Software Engineer to lead improvements to Wolf Security's secure software development lifecycle and align practices with the European Union Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).

You will drive threat modelling, secure design, and vulnerability management across Windows and Linux components, mentoring engineers and collaborating with product security, quality, and compliance teams to deliver secure software.

Qualifications

• Significant experience building, securing, and maintaining production software (endpoint/security/systems).
• Strong programming in C, C++, Rust, Python, PowerShell or similar languages.
• Experience developing software for Windows and/or Linux, including security-sensitive components.

Responsibilities

• Lead improvements to Wolf Security’s secure SDLC in line with CRA expectations.
• Introduce better static analysis tools and integrate them into builds and workflows.
• Establish triage for findings, remediation tracking, and security metrics.
