Lift Shafton in Barnsley is seeking a Principal to lead a friendly primary school and shape Shafton’s next chapter. You will set an ambitious strategic direction, uphold high standards of teaching and learning, and build a collaborative staff culture with families and the wider Lift network.

This role offers a real opportunity to make a lasting difference for every child, with a newly opened nursery, strong curriculum and Trust support to collaborate across Lift schools.

Qualifications

• Successful senior leadership experience with a strong track record of improving outcomes.
• Experience leading curriculum, teaching and learning improvements.
• Ability to build a positive, high-performing culture and strong relationships with families and the community.

Responsabilités

• Set a clear and ambitious vision for Lift Shafton and shape Shafton’s next chapter.
• Lead excellent teaching, learning and outcomes for every child across the school.
• Develop and inspire a strong, collaborative staff team and a visible, trusted leadership presence.
• Work with Lift leaders to share expertise and contribute across the wider network.
