Job summary

Funding Circle is seeking a Consultant Principal Salesforce Engineer to help shape and execute our Salesforce strategy. You will work with Salesforce teams to identify challenges in the Org and SDLC and guide improvements.

You will refactor legacy Salesforce orgs, design scalable patterns, integrate with real-time systems, and explore Agentic AI opportunities to drive transformational change. This is a contract role, outside IR35, based in London.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience as a Salesforce Developer with Sales and Service Cloud, including Apex and LWCs.
• Salesforce Certification is preferred.
• Experience refactoring/redesigning legacy Salesforce orgs iteratively.
• Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure, preferably AWS.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and patterns applied to Salesforce; Event Driven architectures a bonus.
• Experience with Salesforce systems that are heavily integrated to other systems in real-time.
• Familiarity with development tooling including CI/CD, Git, and packaging approaches.

Responsibilities

The role

As a Consultant Principal Salesforce Engineer, you'll:

• Work on discovery with Salesforce teams at Funding Circle to identify challenges within the existing Salesforce Org and SDLC

• Develop an understanding of the technical roadmap for Salesforce and help to shape it

• Advise on existing Salesforce integration patterns and Salesforce SDLC, providing suggestions of how they could be improved

• Identify and implement opportunities to invest in Agentic AI and utilise Agentforce to deliver transformational change

• Examine some of the larger architectural challenges and advise on approaches to solve them iteratively

What we’re looking for

• Several years experience as a Salesforce Developer with Sales and Service Cloud including both Apex and LWCs. Preferably with Salesforce Certification

• Experience refactoring/redesigning legacy Salesforce orgs in an iterative way

• Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure, preferably AWS

• A good understanding of Software Architecture and patterns and an understanding of how to apply that knowledge to Salesforce. Experience of Event Driven architectures would be a bonus

• Experience with Salesforce systems that are heavily integrated to other systems in real-time

• An understanding of development tooling including CI/CD, Git, and approaches to packaging
