About the role

The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Research Support Service (RSS) hub, delivered by Imperial College London (ICL), University College London (UCL), Queen Mary University London (QMUL), and King’s College London (KCL), provides researchers with support, advice, and expertise in clinical and applied health research.

The National Strategic Lead for Methods Development will provide leadership to coordinate and develop methodological research across NIHR RSS hubs. The role involves creating innovative research methods initiatives, facilitating Communities of Practice (CoPs), and supporting knowledge exchange with NIHR panels and funding bodies about emerging methodological advances.

  • This is a fixed-term contract with external funding until 30th September.
  • This role qualifies for a skilled worker certificate of sponsorship or a global talent visa under UK Visas and Immigration legislation. Applications from international candidates requiring a visa are welcome.
