Overview

Job Title: Principal Quality Engineer – Product Assurance

Location: Barrow-In-Furness. Onsite

Salary: From £42,215 depending on skills and experience

Responsibilities
  • Organising and managing project tasks through Confluence and Jira
  • Facilitating ongoing project updates by maintaining communication with team members to ensure alignment, transparency, and timely progress across all deliverables
  • Collect and consolidate relevant data from multiple sources to support informed decision-making for department heads
  • Organising and analysing data and reporting out in the appropriate forum
  • Supporting a rotating team of SMEs (subject matter experts) during their projects
Qualifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with considerable experience in Excel
  • Understanding of project management principles and practices
  • Stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels
  • Engineering apprenticeship or HNC in mechanical engineering
