Responsibilities

  • Review and maintain project quality planning documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with BMS procedures.
  • Serve as the key contact for design and hardware concerns.
  • Act as the external customer contact for product/hardware quality issues.
  • Manage on and off-site product acceptance activities.
  • Represent the project at operational NCRP Level 1 & 2 meetings.
  • Coordinate with the Project PAM and represent the Project PA in management certification meetings.
  • Report human error-related escapes to external customers.
  • Plan and conduct product lifecycle reviews and handle follow-up actions.
  • Lead non-conformance processes and facilitate their implementation.
  • Analyze non-conformance data and prepare reports for management reviews.
  • Identify, communicate, and mitigate quality risks proactively.
  • Participate in process improvements and conduct local audits.
  • Organize quality micro-training sessions for project teams.
  • Support technology transfer processes.

Experience Needed

  • HNC/HND in Engineering or Quality Assurance or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with QA problem-solving and improvement methods (8D, RCA, DMAIC).
  • Self-motivated, proactive, well-organized, with excellent communication and social skills.
  • Ability to inspire change and work effectively in a matrix organization.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficient in Excel, SAP QM, and document management tools.
  • Awareness of continuous improvement practices.
  • Respect for cultural differences.
  • Experience in Defence/Aerospace or safety-regulated environments is advantageous.
