Aegon UK Plc is seeking a Principal QA Engineer in the United Kingdom (Edinburgh or Witham). You will lead Quality Engineering across multiple teams, guiding DevOps adoption and AI-augmented delivery.

The role focuses on defining quality strategies, governance, and metrics, ensuring robust testing in CI/CD pipelines and risk management across complex financial services environments. You will mentor teams, shape the QE strategy, and partner with Solution Architects to align QA with business

Qualifications

Proven experience defining and driving Quality Engineering strategies across large-scale technology environments.
Experience influencing and leading cross-functional teams without direct line management authority.
Delivered automation-first testing approaches, CI/CD pipelines and modern Quality Engineering practices.

Responsabilités

Defining programme level/value stream Quality Engineering strategies aligned to business objectives.
Establishing technical quality governance, reporting and assurance frameworks.
Leading and governing technical testing for automation, NFR validation and release readiness activities.
Driving AI testing strategies using automation-first delivery models.
Promoting quality ownership across delivery teams and establishing quality metrics.
