Public Health Wales seeks a Principal Public Health Practitioner passionate about health improvement and reducing inequalities. The role involves strategic leadership in public health programmes, requiring expertise in substantial public health practices and collaborative engagement across sectors to enhance community health outcomes.
Public Health Wales is looking for a dynamic public health practitioner who is passionate about improving health and wellbeing and reducing inequalities in the early years.
The post holder will join the Health Improvement Division, working at a national level.The role will be key to enabling effective development, delivery and evaluation of public health action for improved population outcomes.Working across the system and in collaboration with partners you willlead delivery of your strategic programme/s.
You will providespecialist advice and represent Public Health Wales in national advisory groups, with a key role in maintaining and developing relationships and strategic partnerships within the wider system including the statutory, voluntary, private and independent sectors at national and local level.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply
