Job overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic Principal Clinical or Counselling psychologist to join our well-respected Inpatient and Acute Psychology Service. The post holder will join a well-established psychology service for people in crisis and will work as an integral member of our Crisis Provision including the ICAH 24/7 hub and the newly commissioned Crisis House.

The role will involve creative and thoughtful input including offering consultation, training, clinical leadership, supervision and ensuring a high-quality service is provided to people in crisis.

  • Clinical work with complex and high-risk cases providing highly skilled and complex psychological therapy
Person specification
Experience / Qualifications
  • Must have a doctoral degree in either Clinical or Counselling Psychology
  • Experience of working within a clinical health setting
Training / Experience
  • Experience of supervising trainee psychologists
Must have experience of working in Crisis and Acute Psychology
  • Must have experience of working in an acute or crisis mental health setting
