Job summary

Brainkind invites an experienced psychologist to lead a neuropsychology service at TEM House in Milton Keynes. The role combines specialist clinical practice with professional leadership and service development within a multidisciplinary team.

You will deliver assessment, formulation, and intervention, shaping evidence-based plans and strengthening governance and innovation across the service.

Qualifications

Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and HCPC registration.
Postgraduate training in Neuropsychology through an accredited route for the QiCN.
Strong psychological assessment, formulation and intervention skills.
Experience in multidisciplinary teams and leadership responsibilities.
Experience supervising doctoral trainees or other psychology professionals.

Responsibilities

Provide specialist psychological and neuropsychological assessment, formulation and intervention.
Develop and deliver evidence-based psychological treatment plans.
Provide specialist psychological advice to the multidisciplinary team.

You'll work alongside experienced clinical leaders and a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, contributing to clinical practice, service development, supervision and the wider development of the service.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced psychologist who wants to combine specialist clinical practice with professional leadership and service development.

You will:

Provide specialist psychological and neuropsychological assessment, formulation and intervention.
Develop and deliver evidence-based psychological treatment plans.
Provide specialist psychological advice to the multidisciplinary team.
Undertake psychological risk assessment and risk management.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and clinical decision-making.
Provide professional leadership to the rehabilitation team.
Contribute to clinical governance, service development and innovation.
Support Service Managers and the Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist in developing the service.
Contribute to the promotion and development of Brainkind's approach to neuropsychological rehabilitation.

About You

You May Be:

An experienced Clinical Psychologist working at Principal level.
A Clinical Psychologist with significant neuropsychology or neurorehabilitation experience.
A psychologist looking to develop their leadership and service development experience.

What We're Looking For:

Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent qualification eligible for HCPC registration).
Current HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
Postgraduate training in Neuropsychology through an accredited route for the QiCN.
Strong psychological assessment, formulation and intervention skills.
Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to communicate complex and sensitive information effectively.
Strong leadership, organisation and communication skills.
Commitment to person-centred, evidence-based practice.
Qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology.
Membership of the Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists.
Experience supervising doctoral trainees or other psychology professionals.
Postgraduate training in psychological therapy.
Experience in service development, research, audit or clinical governance.
