As a Principal Project Manager / Data Center, your responsibilities include:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensuring commissioning processes for engineering services are thoroughly planned, managed, and documented.
  • Delivering client commitments on time, meeting quality standards.
  • Utilizing management systems effectively to meet objectives.
  • Providing consultative advice on commissioning strategies, scope, and programs.
  • Proactively managing commissioning activities throughout project cycles with contractors and vendors.

Additional duties include:

  • Engaging with team members to improve systems and procedures.
  • Acting as a technical champion in specific areas.
  • Promoting the company through marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining safety standards and compliance.
  • Working diligently and professionally.
  • Ensuring high-quality deliverables and technical compliance.
  • Collaborating with clients and contractors on commissioning strategies.
  • Adopting company management systems for project execution.
  • Monitoring project finances and controlling costs.
  • Attending meetings and preparing detailed reports.
  • Developing commissioning documents, procedures, and test scripts.
  • Reporting scope changes and evaluating project progress and challenges.

General Duties

  • Preparing for testing activities.
  • Supporting tender development.
  • Completing timesheets accurately.
  • Supporting team members proactively.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Engineering degree or equivalent; project management experience with professional memberships preferred.
  • At least 5 years in project or commissioning management, familiar with quality and environmental policies.
  • Strong communication skills, client-focused, adaptable, and results-oriented.
  • Self-motivated, dynamic, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Flexible working hours and willingness to travel.
  • Team player with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Innovative, open to change, and capable of motivating others.

Required Qualifications

  • Willing to travel to site locations.
  • Experienced engineer, licensed PE or technician with strong MEP knowledge.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office and Project.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Understanding of design documentation and construction services.
  • Knowledge of construction practices and project financial management.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
