Job summary

Spotify is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the Search Personalization within our Conversation Product Area, guiding how hundreds of millions of users discover content. Based in London or Stockholm, you will own the end-to-end strategy for search results and AI-powered features.

You will drive the evolution of AI-native search, manage two squads, and partner with engineering to balance velocity, quality and cost while shaping executive priorities across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience with 3+ years leading search, discovery, or information retrieval products at scale.

Responsibilities

• Set the product strategy and multi-cycle roadmap for Search Personalization at Spotify.
• Drive the evolution of Search toward AI-native experiences (AI Overviews, semantic search, LLM reranking).
• Own the Search quality framework linking relevance, trust, and UX to measurable outcomes.
• Manage Search as a shared surface across company strategies and communicate trade-offs to execs.
• Coach junior PMs and lead two Search squads.
• Partner with engineering leadership on architecture, balancing delivery with long-term infrastructure health.
• Drive cross-functional alignment where Search intersects with other initiatives.
