Job summary

Intec Select Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Principal Product Designer to build a large-scale digital platform. You will define the visual identity, design patterns and a scalable design system while collaborating with product and engineering to deliver exceptional user experiences.

The role emphasizes UI and interaction design, a strong portfolio, and hands-on experience shaping design systems in greenfield environments. London-based with hybrid work (2 days onsite).

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Principal Product Designer or similar.
• Strong portfolio of shipped products.
• Experience building scalable design systems and component libraries.
• Excellent collaboration with Product and Engineering teams.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the visual design language across multiple digital products.
• Create high-fidelity UI designs, interactive prototypes and detailed design specs.
• Lead the governance of a scalable design system with reusable components and tokens.
• Define interaction patterns for accessible and responsive experiences.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation.
• Translate business and technical requirements into engaging interfaces.
• Champion accessibility and usability best practices across the org.
• Help shape UI governance and design standards.
