UI Designer / Senior UI Designer | London | Hybrid

Central London | 4–5 days onsite

SR2 are supporting a recently Series A-funded technology startup that's entering an exciting phase of growth. With significant investment secured, an expanding enterprise customer base and ambitious plans for the future, they're looking for a talented UI Designer to help shape the next stage of their product.

This is a business developing innovative, AI-powered technology to solve complex challenges for large organisations. They're a small, ambitious team where everyone has a genuine impact, and design is becoming an increasingly important part of how they develop and improve their platform.

They're looking for someone with exceptional visual design skills, a brilliant eye for detail and a passion for making complicated products feel beautifully simple.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and refine intuitive interfaces across a growing software platform.
• Take complex, information-heavy workflows and turn them into simple, easy-to-use experiences.
• Bring a high level of visual polish to everything you create, from typography and spacing to colour, layout and interactions.
• Help develop and improve the company’s design system, creating consistent, reusable components and patterns.
• Work closely with Product and Engineering to bring ideas from initial concepts through to finished products.
• Design complete user journeys, considering different screens, interactions and user scenarios.
• Explore creative directions, challenge existing designs and contribute ideas that improve the overall product experience.
• Use feedback and iteration to continuously improve the quality of the platform.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in UI Design, Product Design or a similar hands-on design role.
• An exceptional portfolio showcasing beautiful, polished interfaces and real products you’ve helped ship.
• A strong understanding of visual design principles, including typography, spacing, hierarchy, colour and interaction.
• Experience working with design systems and reusable components.
• Confident using Figma to design, prototype and refine digital experiences.
• The ability to simplify complicated workflows without sacrificing functionality.
• Experience working closely with developers and product teams.
• Someone who can explain their design decisions and demonstrate how their work has evolved through feedback.
• A proactive, collaborative approach and genuine pride in the quality of their work.

Experience designing B2B SaaS platforms, enterprise software or complex digital products would be particularly interesting, but we’re open to different industry backgrounds.

Above all, we’re looking for someone who genuinely loves UI design. Someone who notices the small details, has excellent visual judgement and knows how to turn a good product into a great experience.
