Job description

Principal Process Engineer - Wastewater, Kings Hill

Join Stantec, a globally recognised leader in Water and natural resources, as a Principal Process Engineer with experience in Wastewater. This role is based in our offices in Brighton, Ashford, Kings Hill, or Southampton in the South of England.

Responsibilities
  1. Deliver Wastewater projects from inception to construction, ensuring high-quality execution that meets cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
  2. Support Project Managers with technical expertise.
  3. Mentor and develop a team of Process Engineers.
  4. Maintain strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
About You
  • Degree in Chemical/Process Engineering or equivalent.
  • Chartered status and experience in the water industry preferred.
  • Experience in design and construction environments is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in process calculations, mass balance, control philosophy, commissioning, HAZOPs, and P&ID development.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience managing staff and fostering continuous learning.
