Job summary

Millbank Holdings Ltd is seeking a Principal Process Engineer to join a leading engineering organisation delivering critical nuclear sector projects. This permanent role offers challenging design activity and a path to engineering excellence within a collaborative team.

Ideal candidates have a Chemical Engineering degree (BEng/MEng), Chartered IChemE status, and 10+ years in regulated environments. You will mentor engineers and support continuous improvement across safety, quality, and delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering, ideally at BEng (Hons) or MEng (Hons).
• Significant process engineering experience in nuclear or highly regulated industries (often 10+ years).
• Chartered Engineer status through IChemE or equivalent.
• Strong track record producing and developing process engineering documentation in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience coordinating process engineering activities, with decommissioning, Sellafield, or AWE projects advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality process engineering deliverables, including technical reports, calculations, specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Ensure outputs meet safety, quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
• Mentor engineers within the team and share best practice.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, tools, and project delivery.
• Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and quality standards.
