Principal Process Engineer - Expression of Interest

Principal Process Engineer – Expression of Interest Scope of Work:

Key Deliverables:
  • Be the Lead Engineer on a study, performing duties with no direct supervision and within agreed schedules and budgets.
  • Present work to clients, virtually and face-to-face through reports and presentations.
  • Involvement in work, from process optimisation, production efficiency improvements, tie-in studies and a range of schemes to lessen the carbon intensity of oil and gas production including introduction of new energy sources.
  • Responsible for the delivery of high-quality deliverables, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards and internal procedures.
Key Requirements:
  • Engineering degree, honours or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or similar.
  • Likely Chartered Engineer status with the Institution of Chemical Engineers or equivalent.
  • Significant related experience in the Oil and Gas Industry and/ or Low Carbon Energy Transition projects.
  • Experience in feasibility and concept selection studies.
  • Experience using HYSYS/UniSim, performing standard process engineering calculations and developing technical reports.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Understanding of relevant industry codes and standards.

    The interview may last up to an hour, and we’ll ask you about your experience, technical skills, and relevant competencies. All the notes taken during your interview will be held securely against your candidate profile on the applicant tracking system.

    Some roles may require a second interview as part of the hiring process.

  • Next steps after the interview process

    Following the completion of the interview process, you should expect to hear from our Talent team typically within a week.

    If you’ve been successful, we’ll reach out to you with an offer.

    Upon acceptance, we’ll agree on a start date and begin the onboarding process through our People & Culture team – who will help with making your onboarding process as smooth and stress-free as possible. They'll be there to answer any questions you may have, provide guidance, and help you get settled into your new role.
