We're looking for a candidate with experience in insurance pricing who is eager to take on more responsibility. The ideal candidate enjoys applying statistical methods to solve problems, collaborates well within a team, and strives to develop their skills.

  3. Guide the business in determining pricing actions to achieve objectives.
  4. Acquire and maintain knowledge of the pricing and analysis tools used, including WTW Radar, WTW Emblem, SAS Enterprise Guide, SQL, and Python.
  5. Automate, streamline, and document pricing processes to maximise efficiency.
  6. Present technical proposals to stakeholders as part of our governance process.
  7. Manage certain processes and liaise with relevant stakeholders both within and outside the organisation.
  8. Manage and support the career development of your team members.

  • Understanding of General Insurance underwriting principles.
  • Proven experience in insurance pricing or related fields.
  • Experience with data science, pricing, or actuarial functions.
  • Knowledge of statistical and mathematical techniques applied in insurance.
  • Experience managing a team, with leadership skills to motivate and engage.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to present complex proposals to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently.

We encourage candidates who do not meet all criteria to apply, as we value diversity and inclusion.

What’s on offer?
  • 36.25 hours per week with flexible working options.
  • Annual pay review and performance bonus.
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with buy/sell options.
  • Professional development opportunities.
  • Support for mental, financial, and physical wellbeing.
  • Health benefits including virtual GP, eye tests, flu jabs, and private medical insurance options.
