We are currently seeking a highly skilled Principal Pricing Analyst to join our Digital Street Pricing team in Guildford on a hybrid basis.

The Principal Pricing Analyst in our Digital Street Pricing Team will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies that optimize market competitiveness and profitability. This role involves conducting comprehensive market analyses, evaluating pricing models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure pricing aligns with business objectives and customer needs.

You'll participate in the Global P&C Academy accreditation, enhancing your skills in underwriting, risk engineering, pricing, and claims management while exchanging best practices across the Allianz Group. Furthermore, for pricing-based roles, Allianz Insurance offers a generous study package to enable the actuarial qualification to be obtained through the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in the UK.

Salary Information Pay: Circa £63,000 per year.

Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.

About You As the Principal Pricing Analyst in our Digital Street Pricing Team, you will be responsible for:

· Carrying out and supporting the team to deliver pricing analysis

· Coordinating the delivery of technical projects to improve underwriting performance against common technical modelling standards and adherence to data controls.

· With your manager, defining, setting priority and report on status of project work and rate reviews / analysis to support product and pricing development.

· Having oversight of pricing and underwriting monitors, ensuring key points are raised to the wider business.

· Supporting manager in Pricing meetings through presenting and contributing to outcomes.

· Line managing junior members of the Pricing team or coach them to develop their expertise / knowledge.

Essential Skills To be successful in this role, you will:

· Understand key processes, procedures and targets and be able to communicate effectively with key stakeholders.

· Understand how own/team’s work contributes to business performance and customer outcomes.

· Have strong analytical and data interpretation skills with the ability to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

· Interpret rules and guidelines properly to support decisions.

· Have full working knowledge of tools appropriate to lines of business worked on (e.g. MS Excel, VBA and SAS (Enterprise Guide and/or Base), Willis Towers Watson Emblem, Classifier and Radar, Micro-strategy.

· Have relevant Pricing Academy or professional qualifications completed or working towards.

· Have experience in training and coaching junior team members in analysis and use of analysis software
