Job description

MSI Pharma has partnered with a world-leading pharmaceutical company. They are currently looking for an experienced Principal Pre-Clinical Research Scientist. You would be joining the Pre-Clinical Development team and be involved in innovating their global portfolio of leading consumer health drugs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide scientific and technical input to pre-clinical development plans
  • Design, implement, and publish pre-/clinical studies
  • Collaborate and coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure research is executed as designed
  • Contribute pre-clinical content to regulatory submissions and support regulatory engagement for clinical research activities
  • Stay updated with relevant literature and support publications to ensure scientific robustness
  • Implement novel research methods in line with internal and external guidelines
  • Work closely with the pre-clinical team to ensure data availability for clinical activities
Experience
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry; consumer health care experience is highly preferred
  • Solid understanding of the pre-clinical development cycle
  • Strong pre-clinical research experience; experience with Pain Therapeutics is highly preferred
  • Proven experience in clinical development, medical or scientific affairs
  • Experience delivering clinical development programs, studies, and activities such as RCTs and RWE studies
  • Experience representing an organization with external stakeholders
Qualifications
  • Master's degree or PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline such as medical or clinical science
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong business acumen
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
